On April 29th 2018, Naturalist Patti Smith led a group to a robust vernal pool near the Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center.

Patti introduced the Vermont Vernal Pool Mapping Project, and how to use their online mapping tool. Then, we all went out into the field and found identifying features of these precious and ephemeral ecosystems.
